This is because the concentration of chorionic gonadotropin is high enough. It is advisable to take the test first thing in the morning when you go to the toilet. Morning urine contains the highest amount of this hormone.

If you have a vaginal ultrasound scan (USG) at the end of the 5th week of pregnancy, it is very likely that the doctor has already discovered the embryo. He or she will certainly show it to you on the screen. However, it will take some time before the developing baby in your womb begins to resemble a human being.
