Nel 2007 \u00e8 stato utilizzato per la prima volta il sangue del cordone ombelicale proveniente dalle risorse di FamiCord. Finora le cellule staminali del sangue del cordone ombelicale sono state trapiantate pi\u00f9 di 85.000, salvando la vita o la salute di molte persone.<\/p>\n<p>La medicina \u00e8 in costante sviluppo e l&#8217;elenco delle malattie per le quali il trapianto di cellule staminali \u00e8 lo standard terapeutico \u00e8 in costante aumento.
